All attendees, exhibitors, speakers, partners and volunteers at the Waterkant festival are required to agree with the following code of conduct and safe space policy.
We will enforce this code throughout the festival to give you the best experience.

This code of conduct applies to all festival spaces, both online and off. Anyone who violates this code of conduct may be sanctioned or expelled from these spaces at the discretion of the Waterkant team.

Some festival spaces may have additional rules in place, which will be made clearly available to participants. Participants are responsible for knowing and abiding by these rules.

Waterkant is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone (, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age or religion ). We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organizers.

The Waterkant festival commits to be as ecological as possibly, by:
– Actively seeking to minimise the organisations impact on the environment, and strive to make positive social and environmental impacts.
– Support and promote schemes, organisation, companies and others that strive to make a positive social and environmental impact through their activities.
– Do not deal with those involved in non-sustainable exploitation of resources and harmful activities in forestry, agriculture, mining and fuel industries.
– Do not deliberately make misleading or false claims about environmental actions and performance.
